TECORE Names Harsham to V.P. of Operations Position

Company To Streamline Operations and Improve Efficiency
COLUMBIA, MD - September 7, 1999 - TECORE announced today that Steve Harsham has joined the company as vice president of operations. In this position, Harsham will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s customer support, engineering and production activities.

"Steve’s extensive background in the telecommunications industry and in managing development organizations will allow us to put the necessary processes in place to streamline our operations," said Jay Salkini, TECORE president and CEO. "The end result will make TECORE more efficient in meeting the needs of our customers."

With more than 13 years of experience managing various engineering groups and projects, Harsham has spent the majority of his career at Siemens and Nortel Networks. While managing the wireless systems engineering group at Siemens, he worked closely with customers to oversee the industry standardization and feature definition activities for GSM and 3G switching subsystem products in the U.S. market. Prior to that, he managed the wireless development group, which was responsible for the GSM-1900 and CDMA switching subsystem product lines.

Harsham also spent eight years at Nortel where he oversaw the engineering group that developed the intersystem messaging and call processing functions on the DMS-MTX wireless switching platform. In addition, he was also involved in the design, implementation and testing of custom call processing features for the inter-exchange market on the DMS-250 platform.

He holds dual bachelors of science degrees in computer engineering and in mathematics from Tulane University.
