PCS Service Provider in Kansas to Deploy AirCore Platform
NEW ORLEANS (PCS ’99, Booth #3102) - September 22, 1999 - TECORE® has announced today that High Plains/Midwest LLC has selected its AirCore® switching platform for deployment in Kansas. High Plains/Midwest LLC is a PCS service provider formed through a joint venture between Pioneer Communications of Ulysses, Kan., and Midwest Energy of Hays, Kan. The company will provide GSM service to Hays, Garden City, Dodge City and Great Bend, Kan., Basic Trading Areas (BTAs) with a population of more than 200,000 potential subscribers (POPS).

AirNet will supply its new high-speed data ready AdaptaCell® Base Transceiver Stations and AirSite Backhaul Free Base Stations® as well as other BSS equipment.
