COLUMBIA, MD – December 11, 2000 – TECORE™ , today announced its strategy to move into general packet radio service (GPRS) offerings with the introduction of its first GPRS product — AirCore® GPRS HLR. TECORE's software-defined AirCore platform will enable global service providers to offer their customers such multiple enhanced communications services as high-speed data transmission, videoconferencing, wireless Internet and mobile commerce.

The GPRS home location register (HLR) can be integrated into existing AirCore GSM switching platforms as well as be used as a stand-alone product in GPRS/GSM networks. The AirCore GPRS HLR overlays onto existing GPRS/GSM networks and is available for immediate delivery.

Key product attributes of the GPRS HLR incorporate:

•	support of multiple data profiles per subscriber
•	scalability from 100 subscribers to 1 million subscribers

•	and concurrent GPRS and GSM service
