Adds GPRS Product
Product Marks Company's Foray Into
Next-Generation Services
COLUMBIA, MD December 11, 2000
TECORE , today announced its strategy to move into
general packet radio service (GPRS) offerings with the introduction
of its first GPRS product AirCore® GPRS HLR. TECORE's
software-defined AirCore platform will enable global service providers
to offer their customers such multiple enhanced communications services
as high-speed data transmission, videoconferencing, wireless Internet
and mobile commerce.
The GPRS home location register (HLR) can be integrated into existing
AirCore GSM switching platforms as well as be used as a stand-alone
product in GPRS/GSM networks. The AirCore GPRS HLR overlays onto
existing GPRS/GSM networks and is available for immediate delivery.
