TECORE
Debuts CALEA Surveillance Platform
Platform Supports FCC's Requirements
of Calling Features
COLUMBIA, MD January 30, 2001
TECORE Adding to its portfolio of wireless innovations,
TECORE today announced its Communications Assistance to Law
Enforcement Act (CALEA) platform for call intercept delivery solutions
that is supported across all TECORE protocols and platforms.
The integrated software package is built on the company's robust AirCore®
platform and meets JSTD-025 call content delivery and supports the
FCC's "punch list" of calling features. The CALEA platform
allows connectivity via IP and other interfaces and delivers call
content and messaging to surveillance authorities.
CALEA requires communications carriers to provide court-ordered intercept
call content and caller ID data to law enforcement agencies.
Key product attributes of
TECORE's CALEA solution incorporate:
| |
Seamless integration as part of the
AirCore platform
|
| |
CALEA's technical requirements and
FCC Punchlist
|
| |
Scalability system capacity
|
| |
GUI-control
|
By simply adding the CALEA license to
their existing AirCore platform, TECORE customers can upgrade their
systems to provide all these features without the expensive investment
into a separate CALEA unit.
"The addition of CALEA to the AirCore platform enables carriers
to handle the lawful intercept of call content cost-effectively,"
says Shiblie O. Shiblie, TECORE's vice president of business development.
"The platform's scalable architecture makes it ideal to deploy
for compliance with the federal CALEA mandate."
